Nestled in the vibrant heart of Denpasar, Kopi Nako Bali offers an exceptional coffee shop experience that artfully marries nature with modern Balinese design. Located at Jl. Drupadi No.32, this hidden gem invites coffee lovers and casual visitors alike to unwind in a serene oasis filled with lush greenery and tropical modernism.
The essence of Kopi Nako lies in its thoughtfully crafted ambience. Stepping into the space, you’re immediately embraced by an open-concept layout featuring traditional Balinese gates paired with earthy redbrick tones and delicate green trees scattered around the spacious outdoor seating area. This harmonious contrast creates an inviting, tranquil environment that encourages lingering over a carefully brewed cup.
Customers consistently praise the peaceful atmosphere at Kopi Nako. As Ab Haris shares, “If you’re looking for a quiet coffee place with lush greeneries, then come visit—you won’t be disappointed.” Similarly, Bobby dwikn highlights the café as “the quintessential spot for catching up with friends or just enjoying a peaceful coffee break,” emphasizing how the spacious, natural surroundings foster long, relaxed conversations.
Of course, the coffee itself remains front and center. Fans of strong, rich brews will find their fix here, with the black Americano receiving particular mention for offering great value without compromising quality, as noted by Eric Wuisan. For those seeking something a little different, the signature Matcha Berry Sea Salt is a standout—a unique, refreshing blend that RoSi Setyari calls “the best” and simply “so comfy.”
Beyond coffee, Kopi Nako features a modest but satisfying food menu, primarily focusing on snacks and local favorites like mie goreng and nasi goreng, perfect complements to your beverage. The Tahu Walik, a crispy, flavorful treat, earns high marks for its yumminess as per A. Listya’s experience.
The café’s seating options cater to diverse preferences, offering plenty of variety within its predominantly outdoor layout. While indoor space is limited, the outdoor area’s lush greenery and natural airflow create a calming ambiance—especially in the cooler afternoon hours, making it a perfect hangout spot in East Denpasar as Romie recommends.
Friendly and attentive staff add the finishing touch to a wonderful visit, ensuring that your time at Kopi Nako is as comfortable and accommodating as possible. Whether you need a quiet place to work, a cozy retreat to enjoy a quiet moment, or a welcoming venue to reconnect with friends, Kopi Nako Bali delivers a distinctive blend of quality, ambiance, and Balinese charm.
If you’re in Denpasar seeking a coffee shop experience that combines exceptional drinks with a stunning, nature-infused atmosphere, Kopi Nako Bali is a destination that promises to refresh both your palate and your spirit.

Kopi Nako in Denpasar is the quintessential spot for catching up with friends or just enjoying a peaceful coffee break. The atmosphere is truly the highlight here. Designed with a unique, open concept that blends Balinese architecture with greenery and natural touches, the spacious outdoor area feels cozy and incredibly welcoming. It’s perfect for long, relaxed conversations, especially in the late afternoon or evening when the lighting creates a soft, ambient glow. Beyond the aesthetics, the coffee is consistently delicious. Whether you grab their signature Es Kopi Nako or try one of their unique seasonal drinks, the quality is always high and the prices are reasonable. With plenty of seating options, including unique cabanas and large tables, it's easy to settle in for hours. Kopi Nako is more than just a café; it's an enjoyable social hub that perfectly balances great beverages with a relaxed, friend-friendly environment. Highly recommend it for your next nongkrong session!

I only tried their black Americano, but it was above average for the price—good value. The atmosphere is amazing, especially at noon when it's quiet and relaxing. The only downside is the lack of indoor space (outdoor dominates 9:1), but if you don’t mind sitting outside (or smoke), it’s a great hangout spot. Staff were friendly and attentive too. Solid café if you want decent coffee in a chill setting—just don’t expect much seating inside.

Hidden Gem of Sanur Interior, Design & Atmosphere: This café blends traditional Balinese gates with a modern redbrick earth-tone exterior, creating a striking visual contrast with the slim green trees scattered throughout the space. This contrast of red and green enhances the beauty of the outdoor seating area, offering a picturesque and inviting atmosphere. The design embodies tropical modernism with elements of vernacular architecture, emphasizing the outdoor experience. While the indoor seating is located on the second level and is quite limited, the outdoor area is spacious, with seating available from the back to the front. No matter where you sit, you'll find yourself in a perfect spot for an Instagram-worthy photo. Food, Taste & Price: The prices here are quite affordable compared to the standard in Bali. For example, while a cappuccino in Bali typically costs between Rp35k - Rp40k, here it’s priced at just Rp29k (before a 10% tax). Despite the lower price, the quality does not disappoint. The cappuccino has a well-balanced flavor, combining strong, aromatic roasted coffee with the creaminess of steamed milk. I also tried the coffee ice cream, which was absolutely delightful. The portion sizes are generous, making it a great value for the money. Service: The service here is fairly basic. They take your order but don’t deliver it to your table. Instead, you’re given a machine that rings to notify you when your order is ready to be picked up at a designated area. This could be inconvenient, especially for larger groups. Overall: This café is definitely worth a visit. It’s not just a gimmicky spot; it’s a place where you might find yourself returning again and again.

Totally great coffee shop to visit and all the menu worth to spend, reasonable. Seating layout is super and very lovely, ambience super modern and live. Lot of seating space variety. So many beverages provided whilst food menu also there but not vary (mostly snack, others; mie goreng/nasi goreng kind). Coffee is very strong, good if you love it. Snack is yummy, we bought Tahu Walik and is very reccommended. While for Mie goreng is actually tastes nice, but not a good portion for us as it comes very monotone the more we eat later. Overall, we could say it's super nice coffee shop in town.

One of the nicest hangout spots in East Denpasar! The place is spacious, full of trees, and feels super chill — best to come in the afternoon when it’s cool. It’s usually packed, so expect a bit of a wait. Lots of drink choices, both coffee and non-coffee, plus tasty snacks at good prices. Just order through the Nako app to make it easier!
